Me: Hey, Brady, you're eating Goldfish. Can I have a goldfish?
Brady: Here (hands me one)
Me: Just one, huh? You're very literal.
Brady: I'M NOT LITTLE! I'M BIG!

A phone conversation with my sister today:

Sis: Well, I'm surprised you remembered my name
Me: Why?
Sis: Because yesterday when we were talking, you switched over to the other line and said you'd be right back. You never came back.
Me: Oh God, really? I don't even remember that. Seriously, I have no recollection of doing that.
Sis: Do you even remember talking to me?
Me: Thankfully, yes, I do remember that.

Apparently it is true what my mother said - once you have children, the mind goes. I really didn't expect it to happen this quickly though. He's only four-months old!

While this image might seem a bit busy, there's something about it I like. I think it's a combination of the colors (thanks to pretty downtown Hamilton) and the body language and positions of the people waiting for the marathoners to finish. Many of the runners have already come in and since there are people still out there, the spectators want to be there for them but are feeling the effects of being on their feet all day. I also wish I could go back and take this picture again; this time I'd raise my camera just a bit so the bottom of the Finish sign was flush against the bottom and I had more of the buildings and the sky at the top.
